Ten Pole Drunk is one of the most hard hitting punk/hardcore bands from the North West. Formed in Seattle’s shadow to the south, the City of Destiny, Tacoma, WA in late 2012. This group of four friends, with a basement full of gear and a love for old-school hardcore punk, began to strike out playing as many shows as they could book. They hit the ground running with fast, loud, and rowdy shows that were inspired by the bands that shaped the scene.
In the working class city, with its confrontations, underlying violence, and wariness of the day to day, the members of Ten Pole Drunk found solace and relief in the pits of punk shows. Their songs and live energy reflect both the problems that surround them and the release of enduring them through music.
Since 2012, they have expanded their horizon with 2 self-released full-length albums, a vinyl split with fellow bands, and 4 tours. They have played all over the North West, down the West Coast, through the midwest, and even dabbling through the South. Early 2016 was their largest tour. Embracing the DIY attitude they set off on 6 weeks of playing a show nearly every night. Their hard work is paying off, with friends all across the US who have supported them along the way. They have been playing shows with legendary bands like MDC, DOA, Agent Orange, Fang, Defiance, and others
Ten Pole Drunk will not stop anytime soon. They are looking to the future by working on writing and releasing more albums, going on bigger, longer tours, and continuing to put on the best, loudest, funnest, rowdiest live shows they can.
